It was understandable that QuickBooks was slow on this system. Then, as I got more into running a real business, I purchased a machine specifically for QuickBooks. It had a quad-core Ivy Bridge processor, two SSDs in raid zero for the operating system, and Windows 7. I did nothing but use QuickBooks on this machine, yet it was still slow as hell. QuickBooks would always blame me, saying it must be my fault, my system, or the data. Eventually, I started using QuickBooks Online because the POS system I was using had no integration with regular QuickBooks. I switched over to QuickBooks Online, thinking it would be worth it since it was useful and one of the only pieces of software that integrated with accounting software at an affordable price. However, even with QuickBooks Online and using their servers, infrastructure, and everything, the software was still painfully slow. I want to demonstrate this slowness today. I no longer use my computer to process anything, as all the processing is happening on QuickBooks Online. I'm just viewing it in my web browser.
